Welcome to my portfolio!
My name is Sister Peter Joseph Wardlaw, OP, and I am a member of the Catholic religious community of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. I am currently studying at Eastern Michigan University for my teaching certification in Secondary Education with a focus on History and Geography. Next semester, I will be student teaching at Fr. Gabriel Richard High School, and will have the opportunity to teach both U. S. History and Geography to freshmen through seniors.
My portfolio is not centered around a specific unit of study, but is instead reflective of a wide variety of the standards of the Michigan High School Context Expectations for World History. In order to show the utility of media and technology for a broad range of topics, I chose from an array of standards in different eras, including the middle ages, the 19th century, and the Soviet Era.
Come on into my portfolio - either start with the first set of standards, or click around to find the ones you're interested in!
All standards are taken from the ISTE Standards for Teachers.
